THE HOLISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Jessenia Acuna, LCSW, RYT

Jess believes in the power of tuning in and listening to your body, empowerment, and living in alignment. Her work focuses on using a combination of mindset, movement and breath work to reprocess hurtful memories and make deeper healing accessible. She helps people struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, body image, self-doubt, and trauma. Jess received degrees from New York University and Florida International University and has over a decade of experience in wellness and holistic healing. Jess is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) and uses a combination of her professional training and lived experiences to help clients reach their goals. She strategically blends traditional therapeutic approaches with science-based tools in human performance and optimization, positive psychology, neuroscience, and social psychology.

Most importantly, Jessenia makes her clients feel at ease and comfortable to be themselves. She is nonjudgmental, relatable and attentive which makes connecting with her simple. In working with Jess, Clients often feel palpable support, understood, and seen. Most people who connect with Jess walk away feeling heard, valued, and deeply reconnected with themselves.

Jess creates a space for real, non-judgemental conversations about what truly matters. Jess is unapologetic in the pursuit of wholeness and reclaimed her own life after experiencing adverse childhood experiences. She is adaptable and determined, audacious and empathetic, and incredibly relatable. She understands suffering intimately and uses proven approaches to tap into what’s most important to others and inspire life transformations, making well-being simple and accessible for everyone.

Kimberly Acuna, MSW

Kimberly deeply believes in mindbody integration for vitality and wellbeing. Her mission is to create a space where others can heard, seen and understood. Her collaborative approach honors personal growth and empowers individuals to take actions that best fits their specific needs. Kimberly obtained degrees from Columbia University and Florida State University. She has worked with trauma survivors and high achieving professionals to help them find their voice, feel more confident and experience their own worthiness.

Kim helps others navigate life stressors such as parenthood, women issues, body image, life transitions, social justice, work stress and mental wellness. Kim has a strong background in advocacy and uses a humanistic approach. Her relatable nature compliments the effective science based practices she uses to help you tap into your personal power and connect to your community.

She is adventurous, non-judgmental, zealous, compassionate, and inclusive. As a wearer of many hats, she joins your personal exploration into the complexity of living in a fast paced and demanding world. She is passionate about working with professionals, leaders and activists in transition and guides them towards sustainable goals. If you are looking to make a shift in your career, start a family, or wanting to belong to yourself (or curious about what that even means), she is your gal. She finds great joy in helping high achieving women tap into their inner wisdom and find inner peace.
